TG2-500 Pre Amp
($1,000 value)
The legendary EMI TG pre amp sound, in 500 Series format.
Nov 2 – Nov 30, 2026 · Open internationally

The TG2-500 recreates the rare EMI TG12428 pre amp from the EMI/Abbey Road Studios recording and mastering consoles of the late ’60s and early ’70s, the desks behind records like Abbey Road and The Dark Side of the Moon.
It uses the same discrete, transformer-balanced amplifiers as our TG2 Pre Amp/DI, packaged for the 500 Series. Engineers describe the tone as creamy and smooth, with warmth, punch and a surprisingly open top end.
“A great way of ensuring this part of the Abbey Road legacy lives on.”
